Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an ancient complimentary medicine involving the application of pressure to the reflex points on the feet and hands. The condition of the foot is considered a reflection of the status of the major body systems: skin, musculoskeletal, nervous and circulatory. Reflexology uses specific techniques, based on the correspondence of the feet with the body systems, to augment holistic well-being.

Benefits of treatment may include:

  • raising energy levels
  • boosting circulation
  • inducing a deep state of relaxation
  • eliminating toxins and elevating blockages in the system
  • addressing back pain
  • stimulating the central nervous system
  • reducing severity of migraines and headaches
  • helping to improve cognitive health
  • speeding up recovery after an injury or surgery
  • providing relief from stress, anxiety and insomnia
